The Story

The Washington Darts played at Brookland Stadium from 1967 to 1971 before eventually folding in 1971. Even though the Washington Darts won the Southern Division championships in 1968, it wasn't enough to keep the gray and blue in Washington, D.C. With players like Manfred Eker & Lincoln Phillips donning the gray and blue in Washington, D.C., the Washington Darts should have been able to fill seats. The reality however what much different and with low attendance, the Washington Darts soon folded and became no more.
